ARDMORE, Okla. (July 13, 2021) — An Oklahoma-based fast-casual concept, serving up specialty tacos and drinks, will open a new location on Monday, July 19. Ted’s Tacos and Cantina, managed by the same group behind Ted’s Cafe Escondido, will unlock the doors on its second store, located at 2401 12th Ave NW #105, in Ardmore.

“We’ve waited a long time to find a place to call our own in Ardmore and couldn’t be more excited to finally have the opportunity to serve this vibrant community,” said David Foxx, Ted’s Chief Operations Officer. “Our new concept is a bit offbeat and very different then our full-service restaurants, but Oklahoma City guests have really embraced it. We’re happy to finally bring The Wet Taco and the rest of our amazing menu to Ardmore.”

The Wet Taco is the staple of Ted’s Tacos and Cantina’s food offerings, featuring slow-cooked Birria beef and cheese on grilled corn tortillas and served with onions, cilantro, lime and a beef consommé for dipping.

The Cantina menu also includes a Birria Torta, fried avocados, sheet-pan nachos, loaded waffle fries, build-your-own bowls and burritos, and various specialty and classic tacos.

Beyond Ted’s Tacos and Cantina’s array of Mexican classics, brunch is available exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays. The location will also offer an abundance of Happy Hour specials, all-day shot specials, unbeatable margaritas, beer and more at its full-service bar.

“Our new concept will truly be for everyone,” Foxx said. “Whether you’re meeting up with friends, having a Happy Hour drink with your co-workers, or just need a quick bite on your way up to Oklahoma City or down to Dallas, our doors will be open and ready to give you a memorable experience.”

The first Ted’s Tacos and Cantina location opened on November 2, 2020, in Oklahoma City’s historic Uptown 23rd District. A third location is slated to open in Ada later this year.
