Ted's Tacos and Cantina announces ada grand opening

ADA, Okla. (Sept. 29, 2021) — Ted’s Tacos and Cantina has completed construction on its third location and will open its doors to guests on Monday, Oct. 4, in Ada.

The fast-casual concept, which is operated by the same group behind Ted’s Cafe Escondido, will reside at 1529 Hoppe Blvd. and offers the same tacos, drinks and brunch as its Oklahoma City and Ardmore locations.

“We have been eager to open in Ada, especially after all the positive feedback we received on social media from the community,” said David Foxx, Ted’s Chief Operations Officer. “We’re thrilled to welcome everyone to our new space, which will provide a unique atmosphere between our cozy indoor seating and outdoor patio.”

Guests can easily order their food the minute they step into the restaurant at the front counter, find their favorite seat and have their order delivered directly to their table.

The Ted’s Tacos and Cantina menu is highlighted by the Wet Taco, which comes loaded with slow-cooked Birria beef and cheese on a grilled corn tortilla. Each order comes with onions, cilantro, lime and a side of beef consommé for dipping.

The restaurant offers unique, Mexican-inspired brunch items, served exclusively on Saturday and Sunday until 2 p.m. Ted’s Tacos and Cantina also has an extensive drink menu, which features Happy Hour specials every day and build-your-own margaritas.

While Ted’s Tacos and Cantina’s menu differs from its sister concept, Ted’s Cafe Escondido, each entree still comes with Ted’s iconic chips, cheese and salsa setup. The Cantina also offers fried avocados, quesadillas and custom burritos and burrito bowls, among other delicious finds.

“Ted’s Tacos and Cantina is an offbeat and fun concept,” Foxx said, “and we’re excited for the people of Ada to experience it for themselves.”
