OKLAHOMA CITY (June 14, 2021) — Brunch just got sweeter and spicier in Oklahoma City’s historic Uptown 23rd District with the launch of Ted’s Tacos and Cantina’s brunch menu on Saturday, June 19.

From authentic recipes to a few twists on breakfast classics, Ted’s Tacos and Cantina’s brunch menu will have something for every palette, as well as brunch-exclusive cocktails, headlined by our $8 mimosa flight, each Saturday and Sunday from open at 7:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

“We know breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but brunch is the most important of the weekend,” said David Foxx, chief operations officer for Ted’s concepts. “We couldn’t be more excited to offer a variety of authentic, sweet and traditional brunch items, including tres leches pancakes, chilaquiles and eggs, smothered breakfast burritos and so much more.”

Ted’s Tacos and Cantina’s brunch menu includes three mouth-watering authentic-inspired items — chilaquiles and eggs, beef tamale and egg and a smothered breakfast burrito — that are served with a side of seasoned home-fried potatoes and fresh strawberries.

The chilaquiles and eggs feature yellow corn chips sautéed in your choice of a tangy tomatillo sauce or spicy salsa molcajeteda sauce and smothered with shredded cheese, pico de gallo, cotija cheese and topped with two over-easy eggs. Think nachos but built for breakfast.

Similarly, the beef tamale is topped with an over-easy egg and drizzled with a spicy salsa molcajeteda sauce, while the smothered breakfast burrito is layered with white queso, pico de gallo and cotija cheese and filled with shredded cheese, egg and your choice of bacon, smoked jalapeño sausage, chorizo or sliced avocado.

The tres leches pancakes, a fresh, griddled short stack of pancakes drizzled with a traditional tres leches sauce, is a staple of the menu’s sweet items, which are served with fresh strawberries on the side. The menu’s other sweet offering is churro French toast, which pairs slices of Telera bread dipped in freshly cracked eggs, cinnamon and vanilla with a generous shower of Bavarian cream churros, fresh strawberries and powdered sugar.

The brunch drink menu offers mimosas, micheladas, a Bloody Mary and Irish coffee. Guests can also order a mimosa flight, which comes with four glasses filled with your choice of cranberry, orange, pineapple and/or grapefruit mimosas.

Ted’s Tacos and Cantina’s brunch will still offer breakfast tacos, breakfast bowls and breakfast burritos, which are served daily. For brunch only, the breakfast ‘dilla will also be available and can be customized to include either bacon, smoked jalapeño sausage, chorizo or sliced avocado.

“Whether you’re bringing family or friends, Ted’s Tacos and Cantina’s brunch aims to provide an unmatched start to your Saturday or Sunday plans,” Foxx said. “Our talented team, led by our director of training and management development Andy Guerrero, put so much effort into ensuring every dish will leave every guest’s taste buds — and Instagram feeds — satisfied.”

The same brunch menu will be offered at Ted’s Tacos and Cantina’s Ardmore location, which is scheduled to open its doors this summer. Ted’s Tacos and Cantina’s brunch menu will not be available for call-ahead, online or delivery orders at either location.
